Media Contact: ignite P2 WORKFLOW WORKSHOP SET FOR TOKYO November 16, 2007 (Burbank, CA) HD EXPO Workshops will present their popular P2 Workflow Workshop to an international audience of executives on November 21st, 2007 during InterBEE in Tokyo. The P2 Workflow Workshop was unveiled in early 2007 and has been on a multi-city tour in the U.S. that extends throughout the remainder of 2007 and 2008. The Tokyo P2 Workflow Workshop, an invitation only event for an international audience of broadcasting and corporate executives, will present an in-depth overview of the extensive benefits of the tapeless workflow with an emphasis on post production and the economics of tapeless production. Presented by Panasonic, the event will take place on November 21st for an audience of 150. While envisioned as a condensed, less rigorous version of the two-day workshops presented in the U.S., the Tokyo event will also give a thorough overview of the process and focus on Panasonic P2 HD products. Like its U.S. counterpart, the Tokyo P2 Workflow Workshop is taught by experts and working professionals, including Suny Behar, Jill Smolin, and Steve Beres. Attendees at the workshop will be led through the data-centric process including discussions of acquisition, data management, post production, and the economics and impact of tapeless production in the U.S. market. Kristin Petrovich, CEO of HD EXPO, noted “The excitement centered on the tapeless and digital workflow is a global phenomenon. The Tokyo workshop will distill key information for decision makers who need to clearly understand the big picture and the implications of the tapeless environment. Our long standing workshop partnership with Panasonic has enabled us to educate hundreds of users, decision makers and professionals over the past five years. We are honored to move into an international role with them.” The International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition, taking place at Makurai Messe from November 20th to November 22, 2007, makes the latest in overseas and domestic broadcast equipment, video equipment, and audio equipment, as well as peripheral applications and technological solutions available in an all-in-one venue.
