P2 Workflow Workshop
Join the Tapeless (R)evolution: Liberate yourself from the linear domain, and learn true creative freedom in a free-form non-linear image workflow from acquisition to archive.

This dynamic two-day workshop brings the technology to the professional, and the professional into the process. Our instructors, all industry professionals, introduce the P2 line of cameras and supporting equipment, while illuminating the process of working with P2 to bring data to screen and beyond. We cover all aspects of the process, from shooting to post, from production to archive. Whether you shoot, edit, post or produce, this workshop will leave you completely educated, fully informed, and ready to tackle any size P2 project.

Over this two-day workshop, you will learn the equipment by working with it. We take you from acquisition to archive, giving you an opportunity to take out the cameras, shoot footage, ingest cards, change resolution, and break and fix clips along the way. You'll work with the decks, the viewers, the cameras, ingest tools and storage devices. You’ll learn about the new AVC-Intra codec and how it fits into the world of compression. You'll get an inside view of all kinds of software tools, as well as a tutorial on two popular non-linear editing systems on your journey to understanding the entire P2 production workflow.

Whether you're new to tapeless or just making the transition, this workshop will deepen your experience of P2 while showing you how the non-linear process will liberate your creative process.
