HD EXPO is education. Every HD EXPO workshop has been developed by and for professionals. We believe strongly that the best people to teach professionals are professionals. Our instructors are your peers: cinematographers, post production supervisors, directors of technology, editors and other creative professionals with thousands of hours in the field and in the trenches, who speak and teach with knowledge achieved only through experience. 

HD EXPO Workshops has grown into an international program of special training for entertainment, broadcast and commercial production professionals. Curriculums are created by industry professionals who have extensive experience working on the discussed equipment and technologies. Our workshops are for cameramen, editors, colorists and professionals adopting High Definition and Future Technologies.

HD EXPO provides High Definition and advanced technology education and workshops with industry notable instructors currently using the technology and equipment.

Each workshop/training is designed to provide the participant extensive training and application. This is accomplished via experienced instructors, group participation in hands-on training, lab settings, and ample educational materials and manuals.

HD EXPO's goal is the completion of the workshop with understanding of the equipment/technology and application in the field by each participant.

HD EXPO also provides private training and seminars for broadcast, production and entertainment companies making the transition to High Definition or desiring instruction on the assimilation of technology. These trainings and seminars are designed by HD EXPO and tailored to fit each company's goals, knowledge level and demographics. The trainings and seminars can be conducted on the company's site or at an HD EXPO location.

HD EXPO joins forces with New York’s edit training powerhouse, MEWShop to present exciting educational offerings for editors and content creators.

HD EXPO CEO Kristin Petrovich and Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop) founder and President Josh Apter have a common goal: to provide top drawer education enabling participants to navigate the curve and become adept at using the tools of creativity. Petrovich and Apter believe that trained and experienced participants profoundly enable the art, craft and commerce of our community.
