HD EXPO March Speakers
Jeff Silverman is the owner of Inertia Unlimited, Ltd. based in Jacksonville, Vermont. He is an IATSE 600 DP and has received Sports Emmys for his camera work at the Olympics and the X-Games. He has developed many specialty camera systems including Umpcam for the NFL on Fox Sports, Goalie Mask Cam for the NHL on NBC, on field cameras for the XFL, and Hotdog cam for Nathans competitive eating competition on ESPN among others. He developed the hole card camera for ESPN’s coverage of the World Series of Poker as well as poker shows on CBS, NBC, FSN, GSN, SPEED and others. For the past 5 years he has been involved in the development of X-Mo, a 2000 fps HD camera based most recently on the Vision Research V10. X-Mo has been used in the past year at many sporting events including the Olympics (figure skating, short track, aerials, moguls, and snowboarding), the World Series, Soccer World Cup, HBO Boxing, the British Open, and Superbowl XLI.
