Steve Wax, Managing Partner, Campfire

Steve Wax is Managing Partner at Campfire, the brand entertainment agency centered on interactive storytelling. Campfire turned heads with award winning, innovative campaigns for clients like: Verizon, Audi, HBO, Levis, Pontiac, and Sega.  He is hailed by the New York Times and Fast Company as among the pioneers of the nontraditional marketing movement. 

Prior to establishing Campfire, Steve launched commercial production agency Chelsea Pictures, and was also a founding member of the renowned San Francisco film Collective Cine Manifest.

Among the awards Steve has received as a producer are an Academy Award nomination (2000) and two Emmy Awards (2008). In addition he was one of the founders of the Independent Feature Project, and a first year invitee to the Sundance Institute.
