Michael Berenbaum, ACE

Michael Berenbaum, A.C.E. has been editing feature films and television for over twenty years. He has worked with such directors as Joel and Ethan Coen, John Turturro, Al Pacino, Julian Schnabel, and Martin Scorsese. He recently completed the Sex and the City movie as well as the political satire, War, Inc. with John Cusack. He also edited Klaartje Quirijns’ documentary, The Dictator Hunter, which was featured in the 2008 Human Rights Watch Film Festival. Other work includes Allen Coulter’s Hollywoodland, Kevin Connolly’s Gardener of Eden, and Shi-Zheng Chen’s Dark Matter starring Meryl Streep and Aidan Quinn.  He has won an Emmy award for his work on the Desperate Housewives pilot and spent six years on Sex and the City for which he won two ACE Awards and was twice nominated for an Emmy. Other television work includes Ed, The Wire, The Comeback, Love Monkey and Life is Wild.
