Post Production Enters the High Definition
Age
Technology is driving a major upheaval in postproduction. Cheaper
and faster tools have lowered the cost of entry. At the same time,
clients are demanding whiz-bang effects, a silver platter of edit
choices, and lightning-fast turnaround. Throw high-def into the mix
and you have a recipe for revolution. Harvey Kopel, founder of New Yorks Edit Decisions, will moderate a panel of
distinguished Dallas-based post house execs, including Martin
Spirit of Video Post and Tansfer and Don
Stokes of Post Asylum.
